There are two main types of enzymes.  One type that most people think of is Digestive Enzymes.  The other type is Systemic Enzymes, used for a variety of processes, like moving calcium, making your skin stiffer or softer, making your muscles more or less flexible – the movers and shakers, the shovels and picks, the tools that the body uses for changing and moving things, rebuilding, deconstructing.  There are about 30,000 identified enzymes.
